Many community-based organizations (CBOs) and college access organizations — like after-school programs and local scholarship funds — share the Coalition’s mission to make college a reality for all students.
In fact, a large number of these organizations work directly with the lower-income, under-resourced, and/or first-generation students the Coalition aims to support, assisting and guiding them on their paths to college.
"As director of a community-based organization that helps inner-city students prepare for college, I'm really excited about the connections that will be made between CBOs and colleges thanks to the Coalition's CBO ID Registry, and how those connections will benefit students like those we serve every day."— Sara Urquidez, executive director, Academic Success Programp (ASP) Dallas
That’s why we at the Coalition want to partner with them to provide the following resources:
MyCoalition is our set of free, online college-planning tools that helps students learn about, prepare for, and apply to college — early and easily.
With MyCoalition, students have anytime access to a convenient digital storage Locker, interactive Collaboration Space, and easy-to-use Application.
And with MyCoalition Counselor, they also benefit from informative articles and other valuable resources for college preparation at their fingertips.
The CCID Registry is a vetted, national registry of CBOs and college access organizations that support and advise students in their college preparations.
