Fly-In Programs and Diversity Visit Experiences

Expanding college access to communities that have been historically under-represented in higher education is a shared goal among Coalition schools. Many of our members provide all-expenses paid, overnight visit experiences for students who are the first in their families to go to college, under-represented minority students, or students who may not otherwise be able to afford a trip to campus. Beyond these programs, often referred to as “fly-ins,” other opportunities exist to better get to know a campus and its support for diversity and inclusion.

At this panel discussion, co-hosted with College Greenlight, learn about these programs, the application process, and other ways to explore smart college choices – schools with dedicated resources to support you and your success as a student in college.

Coalition member schools presenting: Bowdoin College, Caltech, Carleton College, and Johns Hopkins University.
