Annie Reznik is the Coalition’s first executive director, and, since taking the helm in May 2016, she has demonstrated a passionate commitment to improving the college application process for all students. An ardent supporter of student success for over a decade, Annie has leadership experience in the fields of college admissions and college counseling. She held a supervisory role at the University of Maryland, where she helped establish pathways to college for students from lower-resourced backgrounds. And she served as a college counselor and English teacher in secondary schools, most recently at Moses Brown School (Providence, Rhode Island). Tim Groves, our director of development and strategic partnerships, began his career in education as a high school English teacher, prior to helping launch a niche web design and software development company that catered to K-12 schools. After earning his law degree, he served as an educational advocacy attorney, before transitioning to a fundraising role at the Rhode Island Foundation. Tim also served as the executive director for the Rhode Island League of Charter Schools, and he draws on his wealth of experience as a litigator, fundraiser, and leader to ensure a sustainable future for the Coalition and the students it serves. A graduate of Colby College, Tim earned his M.A. in English from Middlebury College and his J.D. from the Roger Williams University School of Law.
Stephanie Stelter, our associate director of technology and operations, previously served as assistant director of enrollment operations and data management at Rice University, where she played a key role in implementing the Coalition Application. Prior to that, she worked as an assistant director of undergraduate admissions operations at the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Stephanie’s vast experience using technology to streamline systems and workflow as well as supporting and training admissions staff not only helps us to develop innovation pilots with Coalition member schools, but also to grow our in-house operations. A graduate of Washington and Lee University, Stephanie earned her MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
Samuel Gordon, our associate director of outreach, began his career in undergraduate admissions at Southern Illinois University, developing communication and marketing materials, before working at the University of California, Berkeley, where he managed the websites for eight departments, while also planning and producing all of their print, electronic, and social media communications. He most recently provided comprehensive support to the MIT Supply Chain Management program. An award-winning web designer with more than 15 years of higher education marketing and communications experience, Sam creates engaging content across all Coalition media platforms to achieve marketing goals. He holds a bachelor’s degree in art and design from Southern Illinois University.
Dalinda Martinez, our associate director of member engagement, previously served in recruitment at The University of Texas at Austin and career services at The University of New Mexico, as well as managed a college and career program for South Texas at The Princeton Review. With more than 10 years of higher education experience, Dali provides hands-on support and engagement with the Coalition’s 140-plus member schools. In addition, she manages and supports the Council of the Coalition Counselor Community, a group of educators who provide direction for the Coalition’s student outreach and programming efforts. Dali earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and master’s degree in organizational learning and instructional technology from The University of New Mexico; she also completed her Ph.D. in higher, adult, and lifelong education at Michigan State University.
